Vault Workgroup
Most of the time, a company that uses Plain Vault will realize just how great it is...but now they want MORE!  Vault Workgroup will probably address all of the moderate needs that the Plain Vault lacks.  Release you data and share it outside of the engineering department.  Best of all, Autodesk allows an easy upgrade path on the server and clients.

Vault Professional
For companies that have rigid requirements and a strong desire to change their workflow to match the data management software.  Vault Professional is the most complex version of PDM software offered by Autodesk to the U.S. market.  Although there isn't much flexible configuration that can be applied to the environment, there are SEVERAL options that need to be set by an administrator
